Dave Young

Dave has been pastoring churches since 1996 across America and Internationally. He holds degrees in Bible and Counseling, and a Doctor of Ministry from George Fox Evangelical Seminary. His academic work focused on transitioning churches from a consumer paradigm to missional thought, community, and practice. Dave advocates for change and deepening dependency on God, especially during challenging seasons of life. His objectives include delivering compelling biblical teaching, creating relationally focused missional communities, and developing a culture of leadership that embraces change while focusing on disciple-making. His mission is to enjoy God, share Life, and bring Hope locally and globally.

Maryanne and Dave, married at twenty, cherish their relationship. Maryanne works as a systems administrator at Rice University. They have two creative daughters: the older, with a BFA in computer animation, and the younger, a Rice graduate now living in Boston working on her creative writing career. The family has faced both the beauty and trials of church ministry, deepening their love for God and each other.
